Testimonials

"Nigel from HLD turned a barren 900 square metre area beneath an 8 storey block of units in Mosman Park into a wonderful native stroll garden for all the tenants to admire and enjoy"

For the cost of approximately a thousand dollars per unit, the addition of the garden helped stabilise the prices from slipping as fast as other complexes did at that time. The strata showed faith in Nigel’s design and the owners and tenants have been rewarded with a once unused area that is now utilised by the occupants. Nigel has completed several other strata projects and I’m a believer that an attractive, functional landscape adds to the tenant’s quality of living and the sale price of each individual unit.

Knowing my love of native flowering plants and wanting to retain the large central Paperbark in my front yard

Nigel presented several different concept designs with this in mind. The circular design complements the existing aggregate and deck, His team installed water wise natives with succulents which require minimal maintenance, and feature masses of red and yellow kangaroo paws in spring and summer, and stunning dwarf banksias in autumn. I love spending time in my garden.

We had a sloping front lawn all the way to the street

HLD came up with a clever use of levels and a series of terraces which maximised the space for a level lawn area, sandpit, and screening for our young family of four boys. At the rear, HLD selected a fast-growing screening plant along the perimeter which gave us complete privacy and shade from the hot western sun.
